joint logistics over-the-shore operations
Operations in which Navy and Army logistics over-the-shore (LOTS) forces conduct LOTS operations together under a joint force commander. Also called JLOTS operations. See also joint logistics; logistics over-theshore operations. (JP 4-01.6)
